The Best Leaders Don’t Command. They Influence.

An interactive workshop that helps leaders understand their natural influencing style, develop new influencing strategies, get more work done through people, and deliver better results. This workshop highlights all the influencing options beyond traditional authority.

"Customized workshops backed by 35+ years of leadership experience."

When Authority Is All
You've Got

Authority gets compliance. Influence gets commitment. And many leaders rely too heavily on authority or their influencing style they are comfortable with because they’ve never learned how to influence effectively through other powerbases.

The result? Directives that get followed but not believed in. Initiatives can lose momentum as soon as the leader looks away. Teams that do what they’re told but don’t bring their best thinking to the table.  Leaders pick up the slack or do too much themselves, when delegation and influence are a better option.

The Ceiling That Authority Creates

Leaders who don’t influence effectively hit a ceiling no matter how smart or experienced they are. They struggle to get buy-in from peers, drive change across departments, and their ideas die in meetings because they can’t make a compelling case.

And the higher you go, the more influence matters. You need people to choose to follow and that requires influence.

What Is Leadership
Influence Training?

The Improving Leadership Influence workshop teaches leaders to understand how they currently influence others, identify the styles they overuse and underuse, and develop practical skills to expand their influence toolkit.

Each participant completes a Leadership Influence behavioral assessment that maps their natural influencing tendencies. Through facilitated exercises and real scenarios, participants practice applying different influence approaches to different situations and audiences.
